as the Agency) and the client. No variation of these terms and
conditions can be made unless expressly confirmed by the agency in
writing.
-
The client agrees to notify the Agency immediately an engagement is
accepted and to pay the Agency fee within fourteen days of invoice.
Non-payment after 14 days will result in a 10% surcharge and the scale
of refunds will no longer apply.
- An invoice will be calculated by the Agency as set out in the scale of
Agency fees and is payable by The Client on the acceptance and not the

- Clients employing or re-employing applicants introduced by Nanny
McPhees within one year of that introduction shall be liable for full
fees.
- Clients retaining the services of an employee/applicant in any
capacity, whether paid or unpaid, will be charged for the period the
employee/applicant is retained, even if said to be unsatisfactory.
- The agency will calculate the invoice for temporary contracts on the
dates given by the Agency at the commencement of employment. However,
should the Client re-engage the applicant for further periods of
employment or extend the original contract dates given to the Agency,
then a further charge will be payable for the exact period of
employment up to the maximum sum as set out in the Agency fees.
- Nanny McPhees endeavours to put forward only the most suitable
candidates. However, it is the Client’s responsibility to
satisfy her/himself that the applicant is in ever way qualified for the
position.
-
We can accept no responsibility for the conduct of our candidate whilst
in the Client’s employment. Nanny McPhees cannot be held
liable in any way for employees introduced.
- All information and introductions are confidential and must not be
passed either directly or indirectly to other potential Clients or
applicants. The full fee will be payable by the Client to whom the
details were given by the Agency if this condition is breached.
- An introduction fee will be charged in relation to any applicant
engaged as a consequence of or resulting from an introduction by or
through the Agency even though the introduction may be made indirectly.
- The Client will be responsible for deductions and payment of Income Tax
and National Insurance as required by law.
- The Client will provide the employee, before the commencement of the
appointment, with a written contract of employment as required by law.
- The Agency acts as an introductory agent only and bears no
responsibility for loss or damage suffered by the Client, caused either
directly or indirectly, by the employee, and shall not be responsible
for any misdemeanour by any person introduced.
